Emily Lamey trained in drama in Dublin and at Queen’s University Belfast, and has built one of the most varied careers in Irish acting. She plays Gwen Connolly in RTÉ’s Fair City, appears in the BAFTA‑winning Kneecap, and plays Sarah in Anthem for Dissatisfaction, which won the Solas Nua New Voices Award and Best of Dublin Fringe, sold out in Edinburgh, and tours the UK in November 2026.
She has a flair for life that comes straight through the camera. Warm, quick and completely at ease on set, she brings a sharp eye for direction to everything she does, from drama to brand campaigns. Her work as a certified yoga and Pilates instructor means she is no stranger to holding a room.
